Note: This is a placeholder policy pending legal review. The final version will be published before commercial launch.
When you register or use RamAILog, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, company name, email address, phone number, and billing details. We also collect information about how you use the platform, such as pages visited and features used, in anonymised form. We do not collect the personal data of your customers except where you explicitly instruct us to in order to provide the service.
We use the information we collect to: provide and operate the RamAILog platform; send transactional emails such as invoices, alerts, and system notifications; improve platform reliability and performance using anonymised usage data; comply with legal obligations under Indian law. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your shipment data, customer lists, rates, or margins to train AI models or to derive insights for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
Each RamAILog tenant (forwarder account) is isolated at the database level using PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS). Your data — including customers, shipments, quotes, invoices, and rates — is accessible only to authenticated users within your own account. This isolation is enforced at the database layer and cannot be bypassed by application code. Other tenants on the platform cannot access your data under any circumstances.
All RamAILog data is stored in AWS Singapore (ap-southeast-1 region). This region was selected to ensure low latency for Indian users while maintaining data within a jurisdiction with strong data protection standards. Data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. Backups are encrypted and retained for 30 days.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India), you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate personal data; erase your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements; and withdraw consent to processing where consent is the basis for processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at aisupport@ramailog.com. We will respond within 30 days of receiving a verifiable request. If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India.
